Code Red were appointed to handle Vectra’s PR campaign in the UK media in March 2018. Vectra targets the world’s largest enterprises, government organisations and service providers with their AI driven network detection and response solution for the cloud, data centre and IoT environments.
Vectra wanted to raise its profile in the UK business, trade and channel media and establish itself as a thought leader in the area of automated threat hunting and AI. A major challenge was to position Vectra against Darktrace, a UK company that had a strong UK media profile as one of the most successful UK home-grown cybersecurity businesses.
Code Red developed quarterly proactive media campaigns combined with an active process of responding to breaking news commentary to successfully raise the company’s profile and earn a winning Share-of-Voice. In Q1 2021 Code Red developed and project managed a piece of global research across UK, France, Germany, US and APAC markets investigating the challenges faced by security professionals in securing Office 365 and other cloud environments.
